The four connected houses as a threefold Radius principle
The capabilities of houses 1, 5 and 9 are supported by the adjoining houses as three groups of four houses each (24.4, 24.5). They indicate the range (6.2) of the power concerned in the fire triangle. Thus, the interrelationships of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th houses are a further indication of the scope, the sphere of influence, the radius of the first house, as a pioneer. In the same way, the mutual relationship of the houses 5, 6, 7 and 8 is a further indication of the scope of the 5th house as the holder of and maintainer of, for example, a larger or smaller company. The interrelationships of the houses 9, 10, 11, and 12 are similarly indicative of the radiation, smaller or larger, of the propagator quality of the born one.
The three Crosses as a fourfold Circumference Principle
The rulers' connections in the three crosses are cycles of four houses each that are diametrically opposite and perpendicular to each other (24.3). This situation puts the center under tension (16.1) and thus forms the basis for procedural action and creative abilities. (24.3) Based on this, the capabilities can come to productivity. This makes them a perimeter principle in construction (6.1).
The exercise of a skill or profession is supported by the zodiacal sequence, while the overcross-connections carry the creative aspect of these cycles. For example, the cycle of the Cardinal Cross provides a picture of the ability to act in a structured protocol, as indicated in (constitutional) legislation, construction, hierarchical organizational structures and partnerships. The cycle of the Fixed Cross provides the capacity for an absolute central position, as is the case with creative artists. Finally, the Cycle of the Mutable Cross supports, besides health care, the scientific execution of research and the diagnostic and abstract insightful thinking.
The Angular Houses (analogous to the Cardinal Cross)
Generally recognized relationships are always based on an underlying support base. This can be the Constitution (4), the support base (4) in society, or a physical law of nature (4) that must be observed in construction or other technical procedures. The same applies to organizational structures, powers and responsibilities within a partnership. The traditions within families or communities are also bound by (unwritten) laws. Family relationships come together in a family head and are carried by the family tradition with its own customs.
A good process in this cycle must give this insight into the freedom of action of the individual (1) and give place to the opposing forces (7) that are evoked by this freedom. Actions that pass through the stages of this cycle crystallize into a stable structure (10).
In general, the process is objectively recognizable and suitable for use in any specific situation. Ruler 1 is here an organic member of the cyclus, which gives this cycle its own importance.
On axis 1-7, the state of ruler 1 in 7 brings out the practical organizational aspect, while in ruler 7 in 1 the own freedom of action is controlled by others, either by protocol or in collaboration with others.
The theme of descent (4) and prestige (10) plays a role on axis 4-10. We find here that the appointment (10) plays a role in the private sphere (4), for example in an official residence. The other way around, someone can get a position through ruler 4 in 10 because of his descent.
Ruler 10 in 1 involves actions from a vocation, while ruler 10 in 7 promotes a clearly structured, protocol or hierarchically determined partnership. This can occur in collegial partnerships.
The Succedent Houses (analogous to the Fixed Cross)
The powers of the Fixed Cross contribute to the centric nature of the born one. They are literally "fixed," in the sense of impossible to be moved from their place. They create their own world; the receptivity to that creative urge is found in 2. The material processing and the struggle with it takes place in 8, while in the response of the spectators the self-created world finds its resonance and right to exist. Every cultural expression, be it music, poetry, painting, theater or many other forms of expression, create transcendent and substantive experiences. The craft takes place on axis 2-8, the creation and artist circle on axis 5-11. Hobby circles and all forms of games are also supported by this cycle. With ruler 1 in one of the houses, the born person lives and contributes from his own world.
With the position of ruler 2 in 5, artistic receptivity is subsumed into and subordinated to one's own will. The position of ruler 5 in 2 gives more receptivity so that the inspiration can work out in the artistic sphere of feelings. Ruler 2 in 8 emphasizes the artisanal aspect, while ruler 8 in 2 brings more to the fore the crises and struggles. Technology becomes art. With ruler 5 in 8, an authoritarian self-centered attitude to life emerges, while ruler 8 in 5 brings out the absolute of both houses in the authority in a given area.
The 11th house offers the circle in which all this comes to life in people's perception and thus becomes a mutual shared subjective reality.
